Empowering Youth with Self-Reliance
In 2007, Mana Services opened it's doors to at-risk-youth transitioning to adulthood. Mana Services is a Non-Profit Organization and any donations you make help us keep our doors open.
Why?
Being 18 doesn’t necessarily make you an adult, although that’s what society expects from you. Mana helps youth navigate the adult world and transition gradually to self-reliance. Experts say the majority of these youth end up homeless or incarcerated; Mana provides a better option! Who? Mana's programs are available to Youth ages 16-21, that need assistance in making the transition to independence and self-reliance. Foster Youth aging out of care, juveniles reintegrating from corrections, and others who are homeless or at-risk of becoming homeless qualify for our services. Mana Services Inc is a contracted provider to the Departments of Juvenile Corrections and Health and Welfare as well as to High Schools and private Foster Care agencies. |
What?
Mana and its partners provide mental and physical health services, life-skills education, employability training and job placement assistance. Housing may be available with “parents”, or in an apartment with a live-in Supervisor. Parents and Supervisors are trained to assist the youth in practicing and applying skills they learned in treatment & those they gain in the Mana Program with support and accountability. Youth build a support system by connecting with community resources. Where? Proctor Homes are available for youth placement throughout the Treasure Valley. |
